As stated in earlier entries, people enjoy PokerStars marketing codes because of the top notch customer support and fun promos. One of the latest promotions is the PokerStars All Star Week, scheduled to take place next week for 7 days. The upcoming week will see 35 heads-up matches between Team PokerStars Pro and a team of Challengers that must win a satellite to qualify. Have I piqued your interest enough to make you leave your bingo codes for another day? I doubt it, so keep reading and maybe you’ll change your mind!
PokerStars is proving they’re one of the top Texas Hold'em sites on the Internet by offering a $25,000 prize pool. There will be five different heads-up matches per day during All Star Week. Each match has a $1k prize pool. After all 35 matches have taken place, the team with the most wins will receive the $25,000 prize pool.
The site will be asking some of its elite players to take a break from Daniels Room poker to play on the team of Challengers. The team is selected via five freerolls, and each satellite awards five or six spots. To play in these freerolls, you must have final tabled a major PokerStars tournament in 2009 or you have to be a Supernova Elite. In addition to a spot on the team, each freeroll winner will also be given a $1,050 WCOOP ticket. The World Championship of Online Poker will probably happen September of 2010. If you’re a fan of earning bonuses, take note that there is a good chance that they will have a new PokerStars bonus code to kick off the series.
If you cannot play the satellite freerolls, you can play in the Wildcard satellite. You’ll need to pay an entry fee to participate, but it will be worth it. If you place in the top 3 of this event, you will become one of the Challengers and also get a WCOOP ticket.
After you qualify as a Challenger, you then need to earn the chance to play one of the heads-up matches. You’ll need to win versus your fellow team members in these matches to qualify to play the heads-up match against the PokerStars Team Pro during All Star Week. Members of the Challenger team also go up against each other for the MVP award for the week by collecting as many points as possible. Challengers get a point for competing in a selection tournament, three points for coming in first place in a selection tournament, and then five points for winning $1k in a heads-up tournament during All Star Week. If you have experience getting dealt lots of hands on money poker sites, it will be a piece of cake to play as many tournaments as possible to rack up those points.
There will be at least one heads-up match for every type of poker, so All Star Week is reaching out to all players that love cards in US poker rooms. Also keep in mind that if you didn’t get a spot on the Challenger team this time around, there’s always next year. To make sure you are eligible to play in some of the freerolls, you should probably spend less time in Amex Compatible Casinos and more time playing large volumes at the cash tables. Good luck!
